Good evening all! I have been a Mustang (2x1967's) enthousiast for most of my life. I have three dream cars though..1. 1967 mustang 2. AC Cobra(replica will do) and 3. Dodge Viper.
2down and 1 to go. I LOVE THE CAR! It is everything I had hoped for and more. I have wanted one since late 91 when I first saw an ad. Although I must admit I am a budget Viper owner. I look for bargains and try to save where I can so I can keep the car running and looking great. Not much for $8k upgrades and such, I would if I had the time. I want to thank you other Viper owners and enthousiasts for your posts and for giving such great information over the years that I have been able to learn from. I drove it from Dallas to Austin with the harness' on and had my first experience with a convertible and not wearing sunscreen when it was overcast (was in bed the following Sunday). I look forward to many posts. If anyone knows of any events in Austin, Texas. Please email me at [email protected] and I would be interested in talking about it...I just look for excuses to drive it on the weekend or anywhere. FAST, pretty much sums it up for me and the new toy! Next on the list for my red 94 rt/10 is a set of 98 rims...any suggestions on where I can get some? Thanks all!!!

Dang there is a lot of us noobs in the past few weeks. I think the market is already picking up. It sure will be nice to own a car that is worth what I paid for it for a change. So your car is a ******? No mods at all?

You just might be the only guy in TX with a stock Viper. I don't even think it's legal to join the club there w/o perf. mods :)

Congrats on the car. It looks great! Enjoy.

Congrats on the new Viper.

I just bought mine a week ago and LOVE it.

It is my daily driver by choice.

I am also a ******** Stang lover, but the Viper just hooked me. I even traded in my beloved Yellow 03 Cobra on it and might even sell my Supercharged 92 LX Vert.

My Viper is stock also, but any stock car that easily grabs 3 gears is OK by me..... FOR NOW!

Good luck and enjoy,

Howard

Phil...Y sounds good, and thanks for all your help with the basics!
And yes...it is stock. The motor was rebuilt under warranty by Arrow (leaking head gasket) and the upgraded just about everything. They say it added 45hp to the wheels...haven't dyno'd it yet. I am not sure about most of you but I look for excuses to drive it and show it. Went on a nice drive and actuall used the harness' the other day, it was a blast!!! I am not sure how to post pics or change my name(from "wantone" to "gotone"), so any suggestions for a rookie would be greatly appreciated. The only things that have been done are:
Upgraded smooth tubes and K&N filters.

Power steering cooler added.

Motor rebuilt under warranty by team Arrow. Est., Worth $12,000. Cost to me 100 bucks.

Head gaskets are guarantied to fail on the 94's. Team Viper didn't just replace the gasket but rebuilt the entire motor. At least a 45 RWH added. Nothing original left in the motor, even the crank was upgraded.

Side sills replaced under warranty.

The hood has been repainted under warranty according to Dodges specifications. There was actually bondo on the hood when the car left the factory new. It was stripped down and coated with an epoxy, twice. Then repainted.

Stop Tech rotor and brake kit just added last year. Includes stainless steel brake lines. (boy do they squeel)

Dodge rear deck lid spoiler.

Five point harness's in both seats.

Upgraded the cars badging to black from the original orange.

That is pretty much it...

Sounds like a plan. I will head over there after the Y. I came close to buying your 95, but was too late...small world.
