During my little offroad accident where I hit a bush the other day, my hood moved like 3 to 5 mm to the left of where it should be. You can tell bad that its overlapping on the one side.

Can these be readjusted? Any tips on doing so? My dad is an auto mechanic, and he just asked me to ask for tips on the forum to maybe help when he tries to do it over the weekend. He said there are 4 bolts, is that all you need to mess with? Move them around a bit and get it in place again?

Thanks for the help guys,

The 4 bolts to the hood are stationary, it's the bolts from the spring to the frame you will most likely end up playing with and the catches at the rear of the hood.

Unfortunatly it is probably the hood frame that got damaged. You will probably need to replace it.

Replace the hood frame or replace the hood? This isn't that bad. I've seen pictures on these forums with people that just just as much mis alignment as mine is right now. I'm fairly certain it only needs adjustment. The hood wasn't actually hit, the car could went offroad for a few seconds and the frame rattled around for a bit.

Opinion on that damaged statement anyone?

Ya I saw your post.

But the frame can get bent easy, so you may consider looking at it. At worst case you will have to replace the frame, I am sure the hood is fine.

Yup dodge sells them, you should go to someone that knows these things. They will tell you for sure.
