I have a Roe Supercharger with the 6.5lb pulley.
I am very happy with my setup, reliablity, performance etc.
But I want to improve my drag race performance.

My drive time is the following: 85% highway, 10% in city, 1% on track and 4% on dragstrip.
I don't have slicks and I always run on my Michelin Pilot sport tires.
I gave up on slicks because I don't have the logistics to transport them.
I have access to race fuel when required.

To improve my drag performance I want to increase my torque between 4500rpm and 5500rpm.

I could change my gearing but It would reduce my fuel mileage and my top speed. I drive too much on highway.

I was thinking about upgrading my cam. What could I gain with a more agressive cam ?

Then there is the nitro. Very tempting but ******* the engin.

I could upgrade also to the 8lb/10lb pulley but from what I heared the highend torque does't increase so much.

Finally I could have my heads ported. This is the solution that I prefere.
What could I gain if my heads were ported by a professional ?

I say you should either go with a 8 pound pulley. OR better yet put a little shot of Nitrous on it. TRUST me a little shot won't hurt you if your using it correctly. I.E over 3000 rpm's, timing adjusted correctly and tuned. You will pick up ALOT on a 100 shot and you will be fine. Is your GTS a 99 or older or a 2000+? If its a 99 or older, nitrous isnt going to hurt anything. If its a 2000+ a 100 shot will be ok.

I took out my nitrous in favor of a Paxton BUT once it is tuned to perfection or as close as can be, I will be putting my nitrous back in with a small 100 shot just for the increase in TQ. When all is said and done I am hoping to be in the 775rwhp/850rwtq. The nitrous install will be contingent on the sale of my car though.
