Ok, sorry this is a littl long but, quick history... Picked up a 00 GTS that had a clear title but bent frame. Great, also the original creampuff had a hole in the block. Super! Really no recourse without a lengthy $$ battle, so I took it in stride and shelled out the dough to completely section the front of the car with the help of a great Viper tech out here in AZ. Only had the car a little over a month before it was completely taken apart.

Also the block wasn't too bad of a deal, someone broke off the front T-stat housing bolt, and botched the repair job. They ended up drilling all the way through into the timing area. Had a machine shop weld the hole closed and drilled and tapped the hole correctly. Got pretty quick at doing the timing cover gasket as a plus hunting the coolant loss though.

Beside the frame work and block repair, I did every nut and bolt, install, etc... myself in the garage.

Get the car all back together and everything is as it should be. Pheewwww! But I have an illness that requires me to keep tinkering soooo....

I put a 510 stroker in the car. Its used but LOW miles and was running fine. It has 70mm TBs, 42 lb green tops and billet fuel rail, 11.1:1 B&B headers and complete catback, VEC II, etc...

The previous tune was WAY rich and I just couldn't use it on my car. Almost fumed me out in the garage just at idle. Plugs were completely black, some sooty some actually wet. Just during idle to get going I couldn't get the the LTFTs in at all until I dropped the base offset down to 47% and still pulling around -.74ms on each cylinder. Two different sets of new OEM O2 sensors and another bosch just to compare. No codes, plugs are way better, and it idles good now. LTFTs are right at 0 to -2% Does this sound right to have to go that low? Can't get the VEC to com with my Vista laptop so I'm going to get a cheapy with XP. I'm actually using a desktop in my garage right now. Once I get the laptop I'll get some logs. Thanks for any help.
