I have a set of used 2008 mopar mufflers for my 2005.
They are believed to be the basic mopar replacement mufflers and not the 2003-2006 full "race system" with cat deletes....
Upon connecting them we have noticed that the catalytic converter has a "dowel" style pin and the end of the pipe which fits into the stock muffler end that is notched to accept it.
TROUBLE is, the Mopar muffler pipe end that connects to cataytic converter does not have this notch.....
So anybody know why the issue?
In order to make it fit i will need to cut of a few inches of the mopar muffler pipe end that slips onto the cat..... (this is the only way that the exhaust tips will line up with body panel tip exit sections)
advice??
