I have finally (after having the car for almost a month)01 GTS starting to clean/detail my Viper....I have not even registered it yet(dont ask)but want it cleaned well before it hits the streets....The car only has 1,700 miles but was obviously driven on dirty roads as there is alot of fine silt/gravel in the lower areas. Anyway while trying to clean up the engine bay I noticed my passenger side intake hose/tube is partially collapsed!! What do you guys recommend as a replacement? Why do you think it is partially collapsed like that(on bottom of hose)? Will it be ok to run it as is? Both hoses are very easy to collapse by hand...This is my first viper and I know that on the ZR1s I owned that its single intake duct would collapse but aftermarket stronger ones were made for it..I assume someone makes them for the Viper.
Also off topic but what does everyone use to clean the hood pad and plastics in the engine bay and wheel wells? and the fiberglass composite? Sorry for the long post..I have to go claybar now!!!!! Kevin :nana: :nana: :nana:

Order some "smooth tubes" from one of the Viper vendors to replace your collapsed one. Smooth Tubes+K&N air filters= +10RWHP (or is it just +10HP?) Either way, order them instead of replacing with a new stock hose.
