Friday night Island Dragway (in Northern NJ, www.islanddragway.com) is having Jet funny cars, street legal racing, and fireworks. There's usually only two jet funny cars, but they're awesome to watch. As for the racing, the pit pass is $10 and includes free racing. And the fireworks, well, they're part of the show too
Gates open at 6pm, racing starts at 7pm. If you need to rent a helmet or just don't feel like waiting a long time, get there early.
