Just recently my car has developed a "shuddering, popping" noise when making left hand turns from a stop. Only happens when making the turn from a stop to the left. Does not have to be a very sharp turn. The noise comes from the outside (passanger side) rear. I am thinking either the u-joints, or maybe the clutches in the diff?? Anyone ever have anything similar?

Changed diff fluid lately???...if not, would do same(don't forget to add the limited slip additive to the fluid) and check shafts, etc while "in the neighborhood".
