The only way to safely lower an SRT-10 is to replace ALL the shocks and springs. The stock shocks are at the end of their travel already on the stock ride height. If you lower it, you literally will be driving around with no suspension.

I believe this to be true, what Daniel says. There is only so much piston travel on the oem setup, and if you lower the spring rate, you will have very little shock travel left. This will bottom out the shock and ruin it. This is one of the reasons the spring rate has to stay fairly high on the car also. If you run to soft of a spring, you will bottom out, and the car has no way of running bump stops.

There is much more to doing this correctly.
