OK. So it's one thing for Dave to rice his car with white hood vents and a windshield banner (windscreen for those 'cross the pond... :uk:), but I'm fixing to have another gadget to plug into the cig lighter, and maybe a third.

1. Currently is my V1 with Big Brakes mirror mount. BTW, nice mount Dave! :2tu:

2. My new wheels that Dan at Viper Specialty are getting for me will have the Hella monitoring system. Now we have two cig lighter items.

3. I might someday get the vid camera mount from Big Brakes and they make a cig lighter adapter for my camera too.

That is three items for one cig lighter. Anyone know of a multi adapter that isn't some honking geekazoid looking thing? Or a nifty plug & socket set for those that are comfy modding and hard wiring?

I've seen several multi adapters. Perhaps with your super modifications skills you can use the loose wired style and modify the console cover so you have three "stock" appearance outlets.

Other than that, you're looking a hunk of junk.

Your V1 and tire system should be permanently wired in. Drill some holes in the dash and hardwire them to the fusebox.

Any tips on that for an '01? Now I know the fuse panel is right below the headlight switch so that is easy, but are there any do's and don'ts? Good places to grab a spare fuse?

I might have to look around for a slick looking plug and socket set for 12VDC systems. Panel mount socket, cord end plug kind of thing.

There is room beside the present lighter/pwr supply to instal another. I have two as my cellphone needed one and so did my nav system, laptop, Vericom, etc. I hardwired my Sat. radio.

I installed one that has the lighted ring so that it is easy to see at night (no fumbling). That way you can use a double adapter on the occaissional time you need it.
