My alarm goes of randomly

Sometime the car alarm goes off randomly. It has happened several times while it was in my garage (scared the crap out of me) late at night.
Also, if i push unlock twice on the key fob, it sometimes goes off as well.

anyone else have this issue?

Yeah,

If you swap hoods, you will sometimes get this problem too.

Vipers have had this problem for a bit. A quick fix is to use the keyhole underneath the drivers side mirror to deactivate the alarm till morning. Then more than likely it is a hood latch.

This is EXACTLY when mine went off. Washed car and in the middle of same night went off. Man I miss that GTS, NO problems at all.

Had the same problem on my 05. Bad switch and my hood was a bit misaligned.

Pull out the connection under the switch, remove the switch. Place the plunger end into a vise, with your palm press on the other end. This should snap it tight again, if your are lucky this will cure the problem!

I have the sam e problem, just started but I did adjust my hood so Ill see if its that.

I had this happend to me with aftermarket alarm, because of dying battery.
