My hood release handle broke off. The cable is still good. All I need is a handle. I treid Jon and Chuck but being Sunday everyone's closed. Any ideas where to get one and price? Thanks!

Matt,

Why not just get a good set of vice grips?

You could also possibly modify a toilet flush handle to work......

I wonder what the dealer charges for this part?

I could do that John. But I'm saving for the portable toilet seat that mounts to a hitch!

On a different note, while I got your attention, I'm going to organize a caravan down to Richmond for Howard's go kart racing. If any of you northerners are coming down have them meet me at the Park N Ride off Rt 17. That's the spot we met at for my cruise. I post more info on Howards post.

Cheerio.

And let me guess, you cannot get the handle without buying the whole cable assembly? We need a new icon to post...a tub of Vaseline with a Ram handing it to you.

Chuck, my comment was not intended at you in no way, shape or form. It pretty much is another straw on the camels back. You know..the camel thats loaded with such things as you cannot get a window seal without buying the whole door stanchion, you cannot replace the rear window seal in an RT/10 unless you get the whole window...etc.

I understand the Viper is limited production, but that doesn't mean I have to like it. :evilmad:

I'll take one too although I already bought the entire assembly.

Don't feel bad John. It's much worse on my Toyota Tacoma. I had my intermittent windshield wiper relay go bad. I had to replace the entire console switch assembly $200.
