We now have Gen 1-2 chromoly flywheels (12pds lighter than stock). These flywheels are just like those used on the competition coupe. The benefits of this flywheel is that it can take much more heat than aluminum flywheels without glazing or hot spotting, balance changes little with wear and the ring gear is cast to the wheel.

We just made 50 of these and have a preliminary price of $399.00! This will not last for long. Comparable flywheels are $650.

For more product information please feel free to call.

What is the difference with this flywheel on a stock Gen1 or a Supercharged Gen 1?
I know it will rew up faster, but where is the real gain?

I always wanted 3.55 gears, once I got them I hated them.

I would love to jump on this flywheel, but I'm a bit worried that the results will be similar?

Any info?

Thanks.

I've got a lightened fly wheel and upgraded clutch on my 02 and love it....
The pick up is so much better and the pedal is also a lot lighter.
I had the 3.73 gears and hated them so went back stock.
Hows the Beast coming on???Keep the pics coming
Good luck :2tu:

What's the weight of the stock flywheel? How would this help on a roadcourse? Can you tell from the typical tech inspections.

Carl.

This is a great mod for roadracers. Quicker acceleration, easier blipping for down shifts.

Skip will know by how freely the car revs, so come clean.

Car will also decelerate quicker with less mass to slow down when down shifting.

I just picked up the last Viper aluminum flywheel in the auto section of Costco (inside joke).
