Went to the strip today, set a new personal best on PS2 and Hoosier A6's. Should have some videos that were taken. Track was packed but was able to get 5 runs in. Looking forward to getting back there, times were getting faster with each run.

PS2

1/8 ET - 7.69 @ 94.54 mph
1/4 ET - 11.79 @ 120.61

A6
60ft - 1.77
1/8 ET - 7.49 @ 94.52 mph
1/4 ET - 11.52 @ 122.97

heres his mods...From his other thread

2005, 3.55 gears, has K&N intake, RT High Flow cats, Corsa Exhaust. Also previous owner also said that it has a Mopar computer. I dont know how to check to see if it actual does. Engine power would be the 500 stock plus what ever the mods above add. Track is around 700ft above sea level

Just added some M&H Racemaster drag Radials to my car. Tossed the Mickey Thompsons. Last Saturday on a drive over to Infineon Raceway I ran over a 3/8" bolt with a nut midway down the bolt. It drove right into my passenger rear tire. I couldn't beleive it when I looked at it a bolt sticking out of the tire. Trashed........ It took 6 plugs to just hold air to get it home. This was my first flat sine I bought the car in 04 My luck was due to run out and it did. The good part was TrackAire was with me in his Viper and his expertise on tire repair saved me and got me home. He has the tire kit to get the job done. I think every Viper should have one. My tire repair kit was a joke in comparrision.

Ya what twister said above. I havent been back to the track since those runs. I'm thinking with a perfect run 11.3 or 11.4's are in range.

Perfect runs are tough. Track conditions really dictate. some days are just better than others as all racers know. I don't think I ever had a perfect run. Good luck.

I once had the mythical perfect run..

With my personal timing gear at the same location on various days I would run anywere from 11.9-12.1 at 120-122 mph..Ocassionally I would run a 11.8..My 0-60 mph was always 4.0-4.1...

This one run everything just lined up..my 60 foot was a best ever of 1.97 and I didnt have to feather first gear..Slammed second gear were I would normally have eased in a bit because of traction issues through first gear and slammed 3rd and 4th..

the result was 0-60 mph in my first time hitting 3's!!! 3.9 seconds and 11.7 at 124 mph..the car was around 465 rwhp with intake/roller rockers/no cats...

that was my perfect run and I ran lots of 11.8's and 11.9s at 121-122 mph but was never able to duplicate it...

Gen 2 Stryker Time at Edmonton Budweiser Park

On Friday I went to the Edmonton Budweiser Park and made some runs. The Density Altitude for the day was 3653 feet.

I’m coming in at 1.948 at the 60’, 11.774 in the ¼ @ 124.43. 1st and 2nd gear I have the typical traction problems and I know I need to change out my 5 yr old Pilot Sports hard as hockey pucks. Maybe with some decent tires at sea level I should be able to get into the low 11’s or maybe with some luck and a little more tuning even into the high 10’s.

Last year on Davenports Dyno Jet I dynoed in at 554 Hp and 550 torque at the RW. Since then I have bumped my compression ratio from 9.5:1 to 10.4:1.Once Once I get a new Dyno Run I will post it here but I’m hoping to see another 15-20 HP and 20+ ft pds of torque.

with those mods tires will make a big difference. I just installed some M&H Racemasters and found them the best yet in drag radials.

Thanks

Will be changing out all the fluids and heading back out to the track here in a couple weeks. I havent had any time this summer to head back out to try to get better. Have to see what times I am able to come up with. I'll post what my results are. Hopefully faster than an 11.52
