What Do You Think

Today I saw my re-covered seats from Vintage Auto Trim here in Cincinnati. Rick Davin is pretty much an artist. He has done hundreds of high end cars and Barrett-Jackson cars and is working on one right now from Cleveland worth well over 200k. The guy has been in business for over 30 years. I used Katzkins leather and the kit is not easy to work with. He had to cut several of the panels and re-stitch them. The seats are all leather, no vinyl as with the OEM seats. The guy isn't cheap but he is the best.

Looks good with out going over the top. Are you going to have him stich the Viper back into the seat?

Yeah I know. Believe me I wanted the logo. Katzkins only offeres two Viper logos for this leather. One was "SRT Hemi" and the other was "VOIX". Of course I didn't want those. The installer could have embroidered Viper in but he had the panels stitched in before we even talked about it. The seats look great without but yes I would have liked a Viper logo.

Looks great! When/If the day my car needs new leather. I think I'm just gonna get mine recovered all black like factory(GEN II), but with yellow stitching.

The yellow and/or gold stitching with black leather does look great with the right car.
