Okay so here we go again. If you have read my previous posts you know I have an early 2000 RT/10 that's burning alot of oil. Some of you out there had this problem with the same model year due to a defect in the cylinder sleeves and had Dodge re-fresh the motor. Did they make you do an oil consumption test? The district manager says they must do this to confirm there is a problem with the car burning oil, basiclly I must bring the car in a few times to dodge for them to check the oil over a 1,000 mile period. Now during the winter months this could take 3-4 months, not to mention the inconvenience of having to take it to the dealer so often and wait around. Anyone who has had this done (Chris Y2KGTS) or knows anything about it please advise. Thank you!!!!
