c'mon ab.. ya gotta spill more than that! What happened ?
Got my first - and only - Viper ticket in June..
Nice bright sunny day, rolling out I-70 from Baltimore to
Frederick, on the way to my son's HS graduation luncheon..
not a lot of traffic, slow traffic in the left lane, so I
found opening in the right lanes, going around a wide curve,
opened up a little to get around ..
bushes in the median.. guess what..
I almost told him 'congratulations! you're my first Viper ticket' .. but kept quiet. only ten over.

almost got another a month ago. Wife and I out for a nice evening cruise in the local area.. got a little spirited
passed a plain wrapper about 5 over on 40. Nice guy,
gave me a warning.. then asked if he ( and two other marked cars that just happened to come along and pull into the parking lot)
could see under the hood ! My wife could not believe no ticket.. and look at the engine. Nice guys! She drove home.

Come on.. details !

I saw Blue lights coming up for behind and I thought a Volunteer Fireman was going to a fire and then I remembered I was in TN! I stepped on it and the lights got smaller!!

I came south with a group from Ontario. While passing through Ohio on 71 South we would swap positions, and play catch up.Mostly the group settled in at 80-85 but sometimes the dial was in the 95-110 range. There was a cop in the north bound lane with a lt blue taurus pulled over when we were in one of our faster modes. He must have heard us comming.Turned to look and swiveled to follow us mouth open, book and pen in hand.I said SHIP!Every cop in Ohio is going to be coming after us.They didn't and we continued the entire way without incident.Wish I had a video of it. Nope.Lucky for us it was our road rally(damp) and seminar day. That was Friday with things begining to dry out..Thursday was all rain and many skipped the parade.Took it easy inside opryland which is all under a dome and went to the reception in the evening.Being inside opryland is like being inside a hugh botanical garden with water falls and river running through it that people ride boats on. I left VOI at 9:30am on Sunday traveling west on I40. There were cops ALL over the place! I almost got shot twice with Instant On from the opposite lane during the first 80 miles. In each case when my V1 went off I slammed on the brakes, and was getting passed on the inside. Each time time I saw the cop brake lights and watched him do a U-turn over the median. He rocketed past me, and pulled someone else over.

100 miles into the journey I crested a hill and saw two Texas Vipers pulled over by a cop. They merged on while I passed them. When I talked to them at a gas station in Little Rock they explained that they got nailed at only 93mhp and got $150 tickets. I escorted the pair back to Dallas going from 95-115 most of the way, and lucked out not getting pulled over.

BTW I managed about 22 MPG. Which really surprised me. I expected more like 15. Is this typical?

Had to ship the car, can't afford any more tickets!!! I was hoping Valentine might be one of the vendors at VOI but they were not. I would think that would be a great gig for them?!?!?!

I personally like the Bel 980(I think the 985 is the newest model). Save me many O times.
