I have changed my thermostate to a 170F.
Now the PCM complains that engin runs too cold if air temperature is below 50F.
What will do the PCM in this case ?
Does it run the engin richer ?

I also agree with Chuck on this one. I know that my web site says that the thermostat that Dan, at DC Performance, and I sell is a 170 degree but in truth this thermostat starts to open at 170 degrees and is fully open at 185 degrees. I have to ask where you bought your 170 degree thermostat as the one Dan sells is the same as I sell and I have been using it for 3 years now in temperatures between 0 and 100 degrees outside.

Yes, it looks like the 170F is way too cold for street use espetially in the North East.
I will put back my stock thermostat.

Look on the side of the thermostat. It should say 171185 on it. If not you have the wrong thermostat. I live in the northeast and have had no problem in 3 years with our thermostat. I even passed CT emissions last month with my viper in modified tune.
