Pics of Viper and Ford GT event....got to beat on a few cars..

I belong to an organization that is called "drive cancer out" Helps encourage young kids not to smoke. Since I am known in my area for tinkering with Vipers and other exotics, I was asked to drive the Ford GT to KY speed way. It was about an hour drive by myself. The Ford GT is a very smooth car, but watch out..the doors will get ya if not..chop of your head! LOL!

We were there for a video shoot that will be on the Jumbotron screen at all the U of L games and I think UK also. I will post up video later next week when we get it. I had Dr. Campbell's viper in the shoot. (TNT King Snake Viper I have been working on). The other drivers driving the cars were not too knowledgable on Vipers. One of the guys ran the viper around 5500K to 6000K while doing burnouts and having the AC on...guess what happened! The car puke out alot of coolant....I was a bit mad because these drivers we having fun hammering on the cars..but not really paying attention to having respect for the cars or the owners. So I ended up doing some mechanical work at the end of the day. I know I wouldn't let these guys take any of my cars out. But in all it was for a good cause. Like I said, the Ford GT was an amazing car. The funny thing about the TNT viper...it kept on hooking up and wasn't doing too good of a burnout...LOL! That is what it's suppose to do..right!

Vipers just look so much better than FGT's to me. I'm sure its a great car, but side by side, its a toad compared to a Gen 1/2!

We did take th Ford GT around the track a couple of laps. It hit 145 mph...which I thought was a bit slow for that car. Now you have to keep in mind though..that he started to speed up about 1/2 mile when he hit those speeds. Camera people were crazy! They were a couple of feet away from the car when it made the pass...This Asian was a chicken and stayed behind the barriers...I saw what they did to those tires before they took it for a high speed run. Wasn't too appealing for me to get that close. The GT had new tires and at the end of the day they were gone. He only has like 2700 miles on it.

As far as the TNT king snake goes, it's a powerhouse. It has an AEM on it and I just built a custom fuel system for him that will support over 2000 rwhp...but he won't ever get close to that. He wanted the system to be extra big. He shoots a wet system of NOS which I think is 300 shot and his engine has a big cam and stroked. He does the 1/4 in the Mid 9's I believe to the low 9's.

The blue viper is stock. All cars held up well. I kinda of wondered about the drivers. They were coming up to me asking advice on how to dive the cars..LOL! I saw smike coming out of the blue car and everyone thought it was just tire smoke...I knew it wasn't due to the smell from the distance and ran over to the blue car and told the driver to shut down. I opened the hood and guess what...power steering cap was off and fluid all over the place. I cleaned it up and put the cap back on. Good to go.
I actually worked on all 3 cars that day. Lesson learned that day...don't let other people who are excited about driving your car drive your car....they will do something stupid...especially if you are the one flipping the repair bills. Over all I liked the Ford GT, but it's not my cup of tea. I will stay with Vipers and Lambos...the GT will hand me my lunch compared to my Diablo...but I don't care. I will eat my lunch in my Diablo looking good. LOL!

I think Vipers look cool but the GT hands down looks better! I have had a Gen 1 2 3 and i still love my new coupe, but as far as which gets more looks the GT wins. Look how high the Vipers look compared to the GT. Don't get me wrong Vipers are bad ass i love em! I will hopefully always have one.

The GT is a toad???? We have two Vipers but I got to tell you, this car can win a lot of beauty contests! Oh well it's America, and everyone is entitled to their own opinions.
