there isn't much to see, the pump and wiring are hidden. The W/M tank is an eyesore maybe someone here can design a custom tank.

M2 will make you a real nice polished aluminum pan to house your tank. Makes the tank nice and stable. Sorry the pic is dark, I'll have to get a better pic of the pan.

Purge botton is located nicely in the driver's side crotch cooler (a/c vent). Indicator light mounted nicely on the column :2tu:

Thanks Simms thats exactly what I wanted to see, so the W/M does NOT cut a hole in the smooth tube like I thought.

Any with an RT/10 so I can see where the tank goes?

I made a post showing my tank and cover back in April but for the life of me I can't figure out how to post the pics again. They can be seen on my gallery.

1) Bob....I want one of your tanks!!! :) PM me and we'll talk!!

2) What does everyone think about the placement of the nozzles? Mine seem to be where they were before I started changing things...yet Simm's are closer to the airbox.

Scotty TOOOOFST did that when he took out the rain baffle. :) Hey Scotty!!!!! :2tu:

is it there so it does not get wet in the rain? or is it purely cosmetic?

BTW any gains from taking the baffle out?

I highly doubt there are any noticeable gains. If you look in your airbox you will see the rain baffle. It just swoops down from the top...the principle behind it is that air will go around it while water drops will hit it and be deflected down. One could argue that it disrupts the air flow.....but I think in a blown car that is moot (but I defer to anyone with knowledge!!!). :) I have driven in the rain with no problems...though NOT torrential downpours. I did make up some "Falsies" that I can install by just opening the front of the hood and they basically do the same thing (I was bored one winter in RI and made them myself...nothing really to brag about). :)

I like that tray :2tu: From this angle the tank looks like it's pulled forward. A block of wood underneath keeps mine level. Who is M2? How can he be reached?

BTW aside from the looks once it's dialed in W/M really compliments the S/C. More HP and smoother transition into boost.

The problem with fabricating the tank is took me 2 days to build it and I cant find a source for the male threaded portion of the cap. I cut the one on mine off another tank.
Another solution would be to take Sean's tank and remove the handle and add the sight gauge. It would slide into the corner further and a cover could be made to conceal it. I plan on doing this to a friends tank after I get back from the Sandhills Open Road Challenge in a few weeks.

plumcrazy, aluminum is not good because methenol will corrode it. Stainless steel might be ok but high density polyethylene(HDPE) is the best.

thanx bob, im gonna have to look into stainless then. I just think a powdercoated tank in the back with my bottles would look great. or even a highly polished one....hhmmmmm
