Picture delete???????

Anyone know how to delete a picture from your media gallery to free up space for new ones? I noticed that my space is limited and I am running out.

What I do is click on the pic. and then scroll down to the comment part. It will say "edit picture" just above the comments. Once you click edit it will give you the option to delete.

When I try that it says that I do not have permission for this action

You do not have permission for this action!

Any other suggestions that I may try? I typed delete in the comments box and it edited that. Thanks for the help
