Hi- I need to remove a rear wheel well body panel. I took out all of the bolts attaching it to the rear fascia but there is a plastic push fastener under the wheel well. I would like to know if those fasteners can be removed without destroying them in the process. I would prefer to reuse the original fastener as I don't have an extra one to replace it with. I would appreciate any help any of you could give me with this problem.

Thanks, Sonny

Needle-nosed pliers are probably handiest, but I've found that a pair of side cutter ***** (not lineman's pliers) work the smoothest. They allow you to easily grip under the head of the pin, whith your knuckes clear of the panel.

Don't worry about the fastener getting messed up, NAPA (and lots of other places) sell replacements for almost every different kind of specialty automotive fastener imaginable.
