Im not having the best of luck with my viper search but i have a feeling ill find something soon. I have had s few threads going that some of you might be familiar with but i started this one to ask about pricing on two cars.

1. 2001 sapphire/cognac rt10 43,000 miles, bone stock, a few scratches in the paint and big dings in the rims and the miles show. (This must be shipped from cali to ny)

2. 2002 graphite/black rt10 17,000 miles, showroom condition, bone stock (within a 6 hr drive so shipping is not necessary)

Please give your opinion on what these cars should go for in todays market. give what you think the asking price should be and what the final sale should be. thanks for helping me sort things out.

$34,000.00
(purchase price)

2. 2002 graphite/black rt10 17,000 miles, showroom condition, bone stock (within a 6 hr drive so shipping is not necessary)

$43,000.00 (purchase price) I would say 40,000, but you say showroom condition

Remember new tires are 1200, if they haven't been replaced, they probably need to be. Shipping is going to be 2000 bucks from CA to NY. I'd steer clear of that first car and wait for something closer if that condition and mileage is acceptable to you.

I would personally hit up Bernie Katz at BJMotors and Woodhouse Dodge. They will be competitive (you can haggle) in todays market and have top notch cars.

Hate me if you want to. :D

You sound like me when I purchased my first Viper. In this market you can afford to wait, it might, and probably will, save you thousands.

Can't tell you about the pricing of the cars as there are many more here who are much more knowledgeable in that area than I am. However, I thought I would let you know that we have a car being shipped from Washington State to NC right now in an enclosed carrier and the cost is around $2,000.......just to give you an idea on shipping prices.

Good luck on finding your perfect car!:D

Who will ship a car from Cali to NY for $2K? The shipping for my car from Phoenix to Detroit for VOI 10 is $2,650, and that's 800 miles less than shipping coast to coast!

BJ Motors has excellent Vipers in immaculate condition; however, they are definitely not in his budget.

assuming it has a clean record the sapphire would go for more than 40. scratched wheels arent enough to bring the price down that much, besides you'd prob want to yank those wagon 5spokes and put some nice wheels on her anyway.

You are kidding right? That sapphire has 40,000 miles, and "it shows" according to OP. I'm not saying the prices these days aren't crazy, but over 40k for that car with 40k miles...that isn't reality..

Bernie actually has a graphite Rt10 "around" his price range, if I am guessing correctly. You also know you're going to get a great car from Bernie. Also, shipping would be relatively cheap or he could pick it up. Id rather spend a few grand more (read, 50 bucks more a month) knowing I will be getting a solid car.

I have alos taken into consideration a car that i just found locally. what do you think a good price would be for this.......
2001 rt/10 yellow with black interior, 11k miles, both tops, bone stock. Let me know what you all think because if the price is good i would like to consider it.

I bought my 04 Mamba from Bernie (BJ Motors), and while it may not be in his budget, you get what you pay for. My car was perfect and Bernie takes great care of you from start to finish!
