Put some stripes on a comp coupe style hood, what do you think?

Just got back from a few weeks in China and thought I would tape off the old hood and lay some stripes on her. still have to sand and clear but pretty happy with the results

The car looks great. Are the stripes closer together on the hood than the roof? Or is that an optical illusion? Just curious.

I was just thinking the same thing. They look narrower too, like it is CC style stripes on the front bumper and hood, and then factory stripes on the rest of the car.

YOU GUYS ARE CORRECT, I am planning on just using vinyl stripes on the rest of the car, I painted the hood ( aftermarket from Vipair performance) and the facia is a spare one that I bought off John Hennessey. I still have to make the roof and rear stripes wider.

If the brakes worked any better they would have to develop an 8 point belt just to keep me from going through the windshield when I hit the binders!

Stripes turned out very nice! Once I read the post I had to look over the '08 pictures again-and the large stripes do look better.

I agree, I like the wide stripes. I really don't care for the new narrow stripes.
