I recently started hearing a rattle in the steering column.
Some said that it could have been the peddles, but I'm very sure
it's coming from the steering area, please help it's killing me.
    Thanks,

Do you need a dealer to go to, a repair shop, or are you going to try and fix it on your own? If you need a local recommendation give me a call a the office, 847-981-9120, ex 172

It is very likely the pedals, but it will sound like it's in the steering column. If you have the petals set anywhere in between the end of range settings, they will rattle. Just reach down and shake the clutch or brake fore and aft, and you will hear it. Only the accellerator petal rattles if you are set at the end of the range. This only applied to cars with the adjustable petals.
