For you professional or amateur detailers, what do you use to polish and remove scratches/surface imperfections from Clearbra-type film (Xpel, Vincashield etc.)? My Vincashield installer recommended Plexus for polishing and it works fairly well to polish when there are minor scratches. I was at an autocross and I believe one of the cones left a scuff on the clearbra. Is this buffable/removable and if so how?

I have already tried polishes such as 3M Imperial Hand glaze which reduced the scuffs a bit but not substantially. How do the pros detail clearbra material?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

PlastX™ Clear Plastic Cleaner & Polish G12310 Product Information

Use foam pad and several applications :2tu:

If its too deep you might need to get it replaced. This stuff helps with lots of scuffs I have had. It has diminishing abrasives that break down as you polish. Thats why it might take several applications.

Thanks. I actually bought some PlastX andtried it. While it did make the surroundinf areas of the clearbra shinier, it did not really have an effect on the smudged areas.
