And when the eventual small fuel spill cascades into the passenger window and / or down onto the sidepipe and IMMOLATES the car, it will look even HOTTER !

Dork... I have never had the fuel go inside my passenger door on my Gen 2. The exhaust issue might be a possibility.. but not in the passenger window..

Dork? (i love this site...)
This is all hypothetical anyway, but:

1) Comparing the GTS filler and SRT-C is apples-oranges. (Dork-like?)

2) The forward slant of an SRT-C is steeper, and is a shorter 'flow distance'

3) I know of TWO GTS fueling immolations at a gas station...one guy was on his honeymoon and the event was even covered on this site. His new wife barely escaped. The gas flowed down the quarter-panel crease, into cockpit and sills, and WHOOMPFF. DORK that I am, I bought one of the cars as an organ donor.

BE CAREFUL FUELING...... dorkly yours, JonB

There is a future recipient of a Darwin award.

2002 Viper GTS ACR:Looking forward to you moving to Chicago. Consider the western suburbs and a train ride into the city.

Let me know where you are considering moving.

Jon B, I see the "Dork" connotation got ya, it was playful only indicating that this guy was just giving his photo shop, not offering to become an engineer for the Viper Line up. I personally think it looks good and accept it as being just a modified picture. And my apple, or is it an orange? has never had that problem, so 2 incidents out of 1000's of fill ups a year, seems a bit stretched. The gas location even has a drain hole, and pumps cut off in NC (and probably everywhere else) once you get to the tip of the pump nozzle that's still inside the gas tank, so if you keep pumping and pulling out the handle while doing so, maybe the Darwin award should be theirs...

Wifey's Viper, I have comporate housing for a few months while I try to decide. Chicago market is a vast departure from the Raleigh one, so I have plenty of time to figure it out. I look forward to getting input from fellow viper owners in the chicago area, along with my new co workers.

Later.

That roofline looks worlds better, and so does the not-stubby rear eand. I still HATE the Gen II lights, but I love the fuel filler door and the rest of the effects.

Why is it hard to build a car that looks like this?!

Can someone PS the curves out of the taillights so the look more like the CC's and decrease the size of the trunklid so the lights can move a bit more inboard and out of the overhang?

The competition coupe looks to have more trunk space which would have been welcome in the street version. The stretched out back also looks better to me.

ok,
the car is lowered, topchoped, and the but is stretched, no more.
The idea was only to show how easy it would be to change the SRT coupe lines for more race car appearance.

Sure Jeff, according to the patent office you cant put a patent on being a ******* (or being dumbasser...) so my words are free for the public to use. As always, donations are accepted tho :)
