Spares as Skinnies

Anyone used two spares as skinnies for 1/4 mile passes? I know the rubber is H rated or something crappy like that but.... this is only 1/4 mile runs. Just wondering what everyone thinks about doing that.

Not worth the risk .... "maybe" on a stock or near stock Viper.

are you absolutely insane? These things are rated for 50 mph, I wouldn't want to be doing 117 at the end of the 1/4 and then use then to slow the car down.

Yes the wheels.... absolutely insane... sometimes.

guess im insane,They are lightweight and alum.Go waste a couple of hundred bucks on skinnys and you will regret that come "********** time" Hell its just a quarter mile. They wont heat up enough to blow.

Its just a car, dont be a pu$$y, but i guess to you its also your balls so you should probley should not risk it.
