Yes. Go over them at an angle whenever possible....

If you take them at a crawl, there will almost always be no clearance problems. Speed bumps, potholes, sinkholes, steep driveways, blind turns! Eventually the underside will get scratched and you will give up like I did. If someone is looking under your car and saying, "Hey! You've got a scratch here.", tell them "Yup! I drive it too."
