Sport Compact Car Magazine Ultimate Street Car Challenge Driveability Test.

To be honest, I do not even know what happened on this one I got 33 points out of 100. The driver complained I had no AC, radio and that the car was too low. The other thing he did not like was that it ran hot in 90 degree weather running the car down the street at 4500 RPM at low speeds. Imagine that, a 1,000 HP Viper running hot when driven like a 2-liter 4-******……..

What can I say……..The car is very driveable and the power is useable, but not compared to a 350 Z.

Ironically, Paul Mumford's GTS won the drivability segment outright last year with a full 100-point score.

It makes you wonder if these two Viper GTSs are really all that different to go from a perfect 100 rating way down to 33, or if the judges were just looking to weigh the odds against seeing another American car as the victor on the cover of their Sports Compact Car magazine, when a Skyline would sell 3X as many issues.

It's the subjective testing that they meddle with when they can't change the hard numbers. :(

Mike, I am sure if I had done that, I would have scored even lower!
