Squeak at half throttle?

It's been there as long as I can remember, but a recent video of my car at the track really made it stand out.

Basically, if I modulate the throttle (accelerator actually) more than about 1/3 of the way, I hear a loud, constant metal on metal squeaking coming from the engine area. Sounds a lot like the brakes, really.

This continues until about 4/5 throttle, but I'm not sure if it's still there or not b/c the engine drowns it out.

Any ideas?

You sure it isn't the screechy whistling sound from the air going through the throttle bodies? It only does it at certain throttle positions and it makes a sound like you describe. You really notice it once you install smooth tubes and high flow filters.

Maybe, but I can make it happen at a standstill... I would assume that much suction doesn't occur to provide the pressure necessary.

But besides that, the other two Vipers there with me had the same items without the noise...

Any other thoughts?
