Howdy...probably a dumb question...my brakes squeak but I see no wear on the rotors...car has only 10K miles...is this normal?

VERY embarrassing. I changed my pads to greens and STILL get the squealing. The rotors go next...
My stock brakes never embarass me. And since I don't clean my rims often, they actually get me a lot of compliments since they think I race it!

Just added EBC Reds. Thus far, only about 85 miles, quiet as can be. My stock pads did squeek.

ViperJon...are those painted or vinyl stripes?

They are vinyl. I am considering having them painted on over the winter, but the prices I have been getting have been very high, even with the Viper tax. 6K and up to stripe and clear.....

The vinyl look okay unless you get a microscope out.

If you want to put it into perspective listen to the
squealing of a viper with Brakeman's on it. I actually
had a cop argue with me over the safety of driving the
car on the street with bad pads. While many here disagree,
I love my EBCs for street use. I've noticed little change
in braking power, much lower dust, and virtually no
squeal.
