Could anyone tell me how to get the sticker that has the vin# off my windshield(lower corner drivers side) in one piece? Would a heat gun and razor blade do it. ?

Is it on the outside or inside? Not the plate right just a sticker?

Use a new razorblade then some solvent, cleaner wax will remove sticky stuff also.

I wouldn't advise a heat gun....they get too hot......use a hair dryer and work it little by little.....it will come right off.

Use the sticker itself... the glue left behind will tack off onto the main sticker... and yes a razor works well to get an edge started. Do it out in the sun and it peels way easier than if in a cool garage.

A touch of "Goof Off" on a rag will finish the job nicely if you have sticky that just won't budge.

I guess I'm lost here we never have a sticker on the outside, maybe your dealer did this?

Maybe MY dealer did this too, oh wait, my dealer was Woodhouse...... Their Viper Service Manager Mark Jorgensen took this picture and sent it to me..... :omg: :lmao::lmao:

Gotcha Mark.:D :lmao::lmao:

For the record it looks like a big bar code and says "SOLD" Drivers side in the lower corner.

what about getting those damn stickers of the visors?

They were SUPER-easy to remove after the car had been outside (with the top on) for about 3 hours in the afternoon a warm sunny day here in NC (~90 degrees). They simply peeled off in seconds. However, it left a film of sticky glue residue. I used 93% isopropanol (aka rubbing alcohol from the Walmart pharmacy section) to wipe off the glue. Easy and safe. Now it's impossible to see that the label was ever there...

Granted, the car was only ~6 weeks old (production date) when I did this. The longer you leave them there, the harder it will be to take them off... (A hair dryer and some patience will prbably do the trick too, but be careful).

Kevin - Mine just peeled off in one piece and I stuck it on a piece of paper. I guess I got lucky. I would try a heat gun if you want to keep it in one piece.
