ROCKET62
Has Left the Room!
Searched high and low for a good looking mount and finally settled on these. Used a "Joes Racing Products" Coil Clamp Mount which is made of anodized aluminum and available in gray, red, and blue.
I know, many believe there is too much heat under the hood, but with my '08 style hood, temps should be a tad lower and the bling factor is also nice. Had to shave the mount so that it would sit flush with the front crossover bracket, and I will probably paint them black in the future. Added some 1/8" rubber gasket material to hold them in place without scratching the motons and they are ROCK solid.
For the rears, same set-up. I cut a 2 3/4" hole in the trunk tub to get the canister in and then used a piece of plastic (door knob wall shield), drilled a 9/16" hole in the middle, cut an access slot, added a rubber grommet, and voila. Looks great, easy to adjust, and easy access to add/check pressure.
