Supplier purchase. Seems wrong to me ?

Hey guys, I purchased a K&N setup as a new product. When I received the package the seal was broken and the items seemed very dirty to me. At the grommet connection, it seems as if someone carved the hole opening with their teeth.............Here's a picture....

It could be a misunderstanding or perhaps I got a used item by mistake.

Does it seem right to you.

Definately not right. Someone tried to do something to it. It could be a return or something... maybe the supplier didnt realize it was tampered with before re-selling it?

Yes..........that's what I am thinking. The supplier is really a top notch supplier and very professional. Service is impeccable. !

I guess I'll have to send it back and I was really looking forward to the install.

Definitely was modified. I needed to do the same to get the grommet in.
