Well it seems like it's one thing after another for me and my viper. I guess with all the mods I have been doing it's to be expected. Anyway after having a overheating problem which I fixed by running another ground to the fan harness the car is running eratic. I have to add that I also cleaned and oiled the K & N filters yesterday so I don't know if that's the problem or it is related to the overheating problem.
What is happening is the car idles fine until it gets to full temp. Then it constantly goes up and down. It also feels like it is surging a little when driving. I remember reading about problems with the filter oil and cleaned out the throttle bodies, and the insides of the air tubes (it is an acr). There is also some type of electronic device in the tube which I sprayed with electrical cleaner. This didn't help so I disconnected the battery for 10 min. to reset it and reprogrammed the vec 2.
Any idea what could be causing the problem ? I was thinking of changing the plugs tomorrow but don't know what else to try.
