Think this is an improvement in air flow or just another thing to add to the car? The dead air space statement makes sense, but does the funnel really improve airflow enough to be noticeable?:dunno:

I like it in white also...hey maybe red to match my smooth tubes, but of course, can't see them anyway!:nono:

I just realized I accidentally invented the very same (almost) product recently. I'm installing bigger TBs and they require 3" smooth tubes so I had to modify the back of the airbox housing to utilize bigger openings for the bigger tubes. My ShopVac happened to be standing next to me and I realized I could use the nozzle attachment. Not only did it have the proper 3" opening but the correct angle so it would line up nicely with the smooth tubes. A little nip here and there it fit. I call it 'Spector':

I think I used the industrial 8" nozzle similiar to the one in the pic. About $10 each at Home Depot.

This was one of the first prototype 'Frankenstein' airbox mod I did. Good thing these rear housing on these airboxes are cheap. I used the Rigid brand nozzle on this prototype but the ShopVac brand works the best. My wife hasn't been able to find this nozzle for the Rigid...I wonder where it could be??? :D

Make every part count.....so this one does double duty. Attaches to your shifter for easier reach AND has a switch to keep brakes on when lining up at the tree for 1/4 mile runs. Why spend all those extra $$$ for some fancy Brake Line Lock Switch made by Hurst or some "fancy" big brand name????:dunno:

This will do the trick and add some shiny chrome to your interior to boot!!!!!:lmao::rolaugh::lmao::rolaugh:

Sadly, I really did this mod in order to accomodate the bigger throttle bodies and 3" smooth tubes. Who would've thought those 8" Shop Vac nozzles would work so well for a TB mod? :dunno:
