Tom and Vipers

Took car out for beautiful Saturday drive into the Chestnut Ridge in SW PA. I was trying to jog over to the next state road and had to take a trace. I knew it might be dirt however it looked OK as I started in.
This road also went into WV for a while and came back into PA w/no WV outlets.
It started out OK, but the pavement started degrading after a couple of miles until I was on a dirt road. It wasn't too bad so I just idled along in 2nd.
Heck, I was in need of a pit stop so this worked out just fine. I stopped the car in the middle of the "road" and set about my business. I could hear some people off in the distance in the woods - probably someone had a cabin up in there.
So I get back in the car and start crawling down the road. In about a minute, I hear, "Viper, Viper!" coming out of the woods to my right!
4 young kids came running out of the woods and couldn't believe their eyes! One of them kept ranting on that this was the best day of his life! His first day camping and the first time he ever saw a Viper in the flesh!
Of course, this turned into one of those 30 minute Viper Meetings!
I wish I had remembered to take my digital camera along because I could have taken pictures of them with the car and emailed them.
It was a shame I was on dirt because I would have given them a show leaving!
At any rate, they will be talking about this for months and will probably tell the story many times. Because I guarantee you, there will never be another Viper down that road for the rest of eternity!
I love taking the Viper where none have gone before ....now will ever go!
After the trip, at the car wash .... another 30 minute Viper Meeting!
Quite a productive Viper Day!
I love this car! and it is truly a Magic Car!
