Doesn't the sound come out of the tips ? In the back.
Changing the cats will change the sound.

Makes sense. Just needed to hear it. I think it is Corsa all the way to the manifold. I will look at them and post pictures soon.

There is a small crossover pipe right before the mufflers..

At VOI X I spent some time speaking with the Corsa guy there. Corsa uses sound cancellation technology, not baffles to quiet and change the harmonics of the Viper engine's exhaust.

I wonder if the addition of the crossover screwed up the functionality of the system as it was designed.

Mine has no crossover. Stock cats and no drone.

I just looked at the picture on their website and there is a small crossover right before the muffler.

Corsa Performance Exhausts

Once you at the site click on product images. Both types have this crossover. I don't know which of the two I have, but when I take my sides off to look at the cats I should be able to tell. I think I will give them a call.

I took the side sills off and this is the set-up that I found. Looks like a high-flow cat to me... Anyone familiar with this one? Brand? Any information would be helpful. I talked to the Corsa guys today and sent them the pictures. Then I took the whole thing apart. The cat looks like a honeycomb of metal inside, but the side Corsa muffler next to it just looks like a straight pipe inside. I am going to call them tomorrow. Shouldn't there be some guts to the muffler? I welcome any comments. Thanks. Here are some pictures:

Sorry ! My bad ! I installed the system myself, and didn't remember or didn't notice that pipe up close to the mufflers ! I just looked on my car, and its there. Probably that memory was in the brain cells that I lost last week.

Easiest solution would be to go back to stock. Most tuners would work you a deal to change out your Corsa for a stock set.

MY 94' RT/10 had some bad drone. I kept a pair of ear plugs in the car whenever it got too bad. My 98 GTS had headers, no cats and borla mufflers on the sides (no muffs in the rear). The GTS never makes the kind of drone my RT/10 made. It sounds very high pitched and sounds more like a ferrari or lambo to me. No drone whatsoever.
