Cool tips. I've also found that hot water works a hell of a lot better than normal tap water... seems to soften them right up.

if you happen to be driving through florida in the middle of a love bug infestation, spray the front of your car with pam cooking oil, the bugs wash right off. i learned of that trick from a buddy who was driving a bentley from chicago to miami.

Someone said use WD-40, isn't WD-40 a petroleum base product ? Doesn't petroleum on the finish act the same as using gasoline almost the same ??? My $.02

I don't think I'd use Pam, and definitely would NOT USE WD-40!!!! I'll stick to the WARM (good suggestion there from Hoop-hot water) dryer sheets to get the bugs off, it works SOOOO well!!! Then, just detail spray it and wipe it all off afterwards. EASY~~~juli

Dryer sheets are made by saturating a spunbond scrim web with animal fat and perfume. One of the two components must be the bug eater....
