In about a month I plan to have Sean Roe in northern Illinois to tune my truck.

Two other people have have indicated an interest in using his skill while he is here.

I would like to see how much interest there is here in the Mid-west...we would probably schedule for a Saturday day on a dyno near my home in Wadsworth, IL.

Fees will vary with vehicle types and the number of people who want Sean's services while he is visiting. This might be a good excuse for a GTG too!

Please contact me via E-mail if you are interested...

Welcome to the board Roy. I hope you will stick around. :)

For everyone else here, I know Roy from the Ram SRT-10 board and he is 1st class. :2tu:

Good luck setting this up. I'll bet others will be interested and I know it will turn out great.

Thanks for the welcome!

Would love for some of you here to be able to take advantage of Sean visiting for a few days.

If you have the Roe Supercharger and/or the VEC II or III...he is the man!

OK here is the new list:

1. Prof (Roe Twin Screw w/Vec III)
2. Hilgee (Twin Turbo w/Vec III)
3. DevilDawg3097 (Stock pre-build Dyno Run)
4. Begood (dyno pull only)
5. MikeNice (dyno pull only)
6. Matt (Minn. Viper tune)
7. Mike (IL Paxton tune?)
8. Madduc (MI, Viper w/Roe SC)
9. Kevan (OH, Tune or just Dyno?)

We have the facility reserved...

Sean has his tickets...

Now we need to put our money where our mouth is...please.

Details:

VEC Tunes will be $375 dollars which includes dyno time with tie down services provided.

Dyno pulls with full service will be $150 (an hour of dyno time, probably three pulls maybe four depending on temperature).

Location: Westech Automotive, 418 S. Cogswell, Silver Lake, WI 53170

Sean will be able to tune the afternoon of Oct. 3, and all day on Oct. 4.

It will be necessary to contact me with your preferred date and time. Please use my email address: [email protected]

We have room for more tunes...if we can get four or five more the cost per tune will decrease...

I am fronting all the funds, so I would appreciate it if we could get firm commitments by the end of this weekend. When you contact me, give me your name, email address, phone and what time you want to make an appointment...first come first served! I will want a Paypal payment or check in my hand to block out your slot.

Spread the word please...if this goes well maybe we can make it an annual GTG!

I will make nothing, anything from additional tunes will serve to discount the cost of each tune.

Hats off to Prof, Sean Roe and the entire gang at Westech Automotive!! Had a GREAT time hanging out with all of you. Thank you Roy for a tasty lunch. Truly awesome watching the Master work his magic tuning some already great machines, making them even better!! Can't wait to get out today and see what my car can do now. Just with the short test drive after Sean spoke to my car, it is truly a stronger crisper running machine. Now I'm going to need rear tires even sooner!! Curious to see who made the most hp after all the dust settles, or should I say after all the exhaust fumes have cleared out.

My car and I both Thank you Roy, for setting this up and even having to pony up some extra $$ on you part to make this happen.
Thank you Sean, for taking time out of your life to be away from your family, and spend time getting the most out of our ROE S/C beasts.
Thank you Norm, for the use of your very impressive shop!
It was a great day! Thanks...Joe Bryant

Nothing makes an event better than good people...we really had our share!

It is amazing how these vehicles create "family" so quickly.

I had a ball, and my truck is scary quick after Sean Roe "Whispered to it."

Was a great time and I would like to thank Roy and Sean for taking the time to put this all together. It is amazing how fast Sean is at problem solving and tuning. I would recomend him to anyone. Roy was a great host and kicked some a** on a undisclosed Viper with his truck:)

Joe. We figured out what was wrong with the dyno and your car has more HP then you think. That reading was just max HP up to 5000 rpm's. I still picked up another 40rwhp after 5k.

Matt...your Viper is just incredible.

Unabashed commercial...if anyone wants their Viper to sound "KILLER VICIOUS", you have to consider the M&M Performance Headers!

Your comment about "Undisclosed Viper"...I "sneak-jumped" him and he lost traction...and to be sure he will never get a chance to get even...I believe in quitting when ahead!

We have to gather again in the spring...my memories will keep me warm until then!

Unabashed commercial: If you want your viper to sound VICIOUS...you have to consider the M&M Performance headers...the sound was killer, and the performance well...off the charts.

Re: the "undisclosed viper"...I have to say that I "sucker punched it", and there is no doubt that he spun terribly...and I will never ever give him a chance to get even...I believe in quitting when ahead!

We have to get together again in the spring!

Ok...So how much more did I make then? Got to give it good ringing out yesterday and all I can say is HOLY CRAP! It pulls sooo hard. Even with my sticky tires, I have to pedal it in 2nd, the tires are begging for mercy!! Before ya know it 2nd gear is done and third doesn't last much longer. Plus the difference in drivibilty is night and day from before. I have an even bigger surprise for my buddy in his mod'd 996 twin turbo.

I don't know how much more as that data was not recorded. The dyno was set to stop recording after 5k rpms. We had the same problem with mine but figured it out half way through.
