How hard is it to tune my viper using the VEC1 once it is installed? Do I have to tune it while on a dyno or can I do it at home or while driving? Is there any danger of damaging my engine due to miscalibration on my part? Does anyone have the instructions that they can send me to look at? Any help would be appreciated.

No, I haven't gotten one yet. I want to make sure that it is something I can handle to do on my own before I purchase one.

Not hard, not dangerous. You really need to do it on a dyno to dial it in. Seat of the pants just doesn't cut it when you are working with 10-20hp. Just my opinion.

You can tune it while driving, follow the direction and than you go to the dyno for small adjustments. It will take less time and it will cost you lesst on the dyno.
