Viper Takes 2nd Place - Lousiville Concours

So, thanks to Stretch, I got in the Louisville Concours d'Elegance this weekend, competing in the Supercars to 2011 class. The contenders were:
2009 Lamborghini Murcielago LP640
2011 Porsche GT3 RS
2011 Maserati Granturismo S
2003 Ferrari F360 Convertible
2008 Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione
2010 Dodge Viper ACR Roadster (me!)
1997 Ferrari 355 Spider
(Display only) 2010 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1
(Display only) 2009 Ferrari 599

It was an extremely well rounded and competitive class to be in... all the cars were in top shape!

In the end, the winners for the Supercars to 2011 Class:

1st place (damn, this thing was sweet):
2008 Alfa Romeo 8C Competizone

Ugh, the sun was very, very harsh yesterday... you could definitely see every little flaw in every car's paint. I had put in probably 40 hours of detailing work in preparation, and I'm thrilled it paid off!

Thanks! Great experience, my first Concours and actually my first judged car show with the Viper, so I'm more than pleased. Afterwards, the chief judge came over to me and chatted a bit, and talked about how with the Supercar class and its diversity, it was more about "presence" than anything else. He said the Viper had show presence, and was very complimentary to it!

I would take the 8c for just one reason. Sell it and buy an 2010 ACR, a GTS(Blue w/stripes) and a RT/10.
