Hi...

I'm looking into purchasing a Coupe as soon as possible. How soon are you going to have your Coupes in? What colors/wheels do they have? Thanks! :2tu:

I don't know how anyone could consider a Corvette Convertible at these prices, let alone a Z06!!

I am surprised that the '05s can be bought for less than the '04s.

I paid 68500 for a 2004 with 1800 miles 4 months ago and that was the best price I could see in the nation. I thought I had a great deal because the car had dropped 16K in the first year. I'm hoping that with the diminishing of vert production next year it may slow down the decline. I don't see any marketing or promotion of the cars to the general public and most people don't even know there was a change in model in 2003 so they think the style is 10 or 15 years old. I was aware of the change but had never seen the car and only chanced on one on a lot as an alternative to a Vette. Obviously enthusiasts know of the change but new buyers don't and without them there are apparently not enough enthusiasts to keep the car valuable. I love the car but I usually change cars every 3 to 5 years and would like some residual value at the end. Exclusivity I suppose is wonderful but whats so bad about having other Viper owners around? I don't want to pay for that exclusivity by having the car's value decrease dramatically because Dodge isn't marketing to new customers and bringing them in as purchasers.
Unfortunately the same drop happened for different reasons with Benz roadsters. Their value plummeted in the late 90s after Benz came out with so many cheap cars.
