As the title suggests, what products/material/procedures/etc. do you all use to scuff up rotors on a brake pad change? I've read anything from emery cloth to scotch brite pads to wire wheels. Emery cloth seems like it would take forever and have to be done by hand. Wire wheels sound kind of aggressive to me, but then again brakes have to be pretty dang tough. I'm leaning toward a scotch brite pad as I feel like that might be a nice medium, but maybe they wouldn't be tough enough? I don't have a lathe or anything, but I have got a drill. These are specifically on gen 4 two piece ACR rotors, but I doubt that makes any real difference.

Oh, didn't know they made stuff specifically for that, lol. Leave it to 3M. I'll have to see if I can find some near me. Thanks!
