I couldn't bring my GTS to the NSCA race at Cecil Co last weekend to race the Corvettes. My trailer was full with the NSCA car. One Viper showed up to race a dozen Vets! They had one 9 sec Vet and a couple 10 sec cars. They have four classes ranging from stock to unlimited. I thought Heffner or Tony A would be there to do us proud, Vipers took a lot $hit for not showing. Next one is at Milan Mi June 12 then Quaker City Oh July 17.
Bene, Dustman and myself will attend the Ohio event.

I especially like what he annoucncer said when I made my winning elimination pass

"There were some vipers here, Edgar must have scared them away"

I'm just not up for the $100 entry to race.. I can wait for the local Vette club to rent Milan and get in for about $25

I also was there. I was kind of disapointed not to see a good Viper showing. I agree the $100 fee seems kind of steep. Usually less than half of that. I did bring my green 340 dart and took home a trophy from the show area.

No slam, but, I didn't get my viper by tossing $100 out the window everytime a vette owner needed a whipping.

True, I expected some very fast cars (vettes & Vipers) and figured why spend $100 just to be the slowest stock Viper there. It was what I guessed to be a guaranteed loss to the other cars. No sense spending a hundred just to prove it.

Roof you are a definite for Milan?

FE, each post you make on this topic is about the entry fee. If it was lower would you race? What class would you be in? How quick are you? If there was a guaranteed payout to the winner to at least cover the $100, would you show?

Bonkers, same comments I made to FE.

Steve I see you have both a Viper and a Vette, is neither capable of 11 second ET's? You paid $30 to enter so it only would have been $70 more for you to race if you think about. You are in Newark so the $100 entitled you to entry on Sunday too for another $30 value. Had you been in the 11.50 class you would have been the fourth car and that means winner would have gotten $250 and runner up would have gotten $150. Nice return for one run!!

My cars are completely stock. The best i have seen on stock tires was a mid 12. Nowhere good enough to compete.

Is there a test and tune at Milan the night before? My wife is going out of town that weekend so I _just_ might be able to sneak away... :)

Joseph, I am not sure. When they came to Cecil, there was test and tune happening Friday but it was part of the regular Friday night program, which I see Milan has.

Awesome numbers on that car of yours by the way:D
