Need to remove the cowl cover to replace the plug wires......

Removed the nut on the wiper arm base.........tugged, pulled, twisted, etc........didn't want to resort to a puller yet.

Any tips?

Thanks

Use a small battery terminal puller...they often have the tips covered with plastic to prevent damage...have used one many times on our Vipers with NO problems.

Try a little liquid wrench or similar around the stud. It should just pull off (I know you know) with v.little effort. Last time I had mine off ther was no issue. Aside from something being bent, I can't imagine why they won't just pop off.

I thought the same thing when I removed mine.

You just have to pull hard and straight out. I took a screwdriver wrapped it in a cloth and used it as a lever. Work your way around it a little at a time but it will come off.
