Wire looms for 8.5 mm?

Hi All,
I just swaped the stock wires for MSD 8.5 mm wires. All went well except the stock looms won't allow the 8.5 mm wires to fit. Is there any option to use the same valve cover studs to keep these wires up off the heat shields and separated from one another? Thanks.

The factory looms will actually accept up to 10mm Magnecore and MSD wires, it's just a little bit of a hassle to do the job. I use a dry lubricant and spray the looms, then just fit the wires in the loom by hand. Clasping the later locking looms can be a battle, although not a impossible feat.

My stock looms carry the Magnacore 8.5 wires, but the 10 mm wires will need different looms.

I felt that the 10mm Magnecors were too tight in the stock looms, so I used a drill / round file to open them up a bit which worked fine, thought they are still a little on the snug side even with silicone lubricant. I would think the 8.5's should be fine as-is, especially with a little lubrication, but you might try the file trick on them if you think they are too snug.
