Gen III seat in Gen 1

Has anyone been doing this? My buddy has them in his car and was wondering if anyone else has been putting them in their car.

Been thinking about it in my Gen II

Supposedly the seat raises you up about an inch. This is why I have not done this in my Gen II. To be honest, I need to lower my seat since I don't like to drive with my steering wheel in the "bus" position.

Note: I am 6'3

yeah it does raise it up. I was wondering if you can buy a lowering kit for the seats

You can. 1 inch drop (which I assume brings the seat close to stock gen II height) is adjustable. 2 inch drop is not adjustable.

yea i was checkin out the 1 inch drop. I think that would be plenty.

I looked for something on people putting Gen 3 seats in a Gen 1 and i diditn find anything.
