Here is an email I just received from one of the fathers at the event. Would anybody in the Chattanoga TN (actually 40 miles north on 27) be willing to give this young man a ride in their Viper? I would still need to work out the details.
EMail below:
THOMAS,
THANKS FOR BRINGING YOUR CARS...
Re: VIR IN JULY! WHO\'S GOING???
Todd, I will be heading to VIR for Viper Days from just down the road in Dacula. I plan on leaving Thursday am so I can set up and be ready for Friday test and tune. You are welcome to join me, or better yet, stop by this weekend. Give me a call 678-371-6427...
I saved all my pennies since TWS last year for another run at turn 17. I might finish a little higher in the order this year, maybe. Sorry to say Rich and Ben will not make it. Eyal's wife just had a baby boy and will miss the event as well. See you soon.

Joe is no longer the President. He resigned and the new President is doing a great job as Joe will attest to I am sure. Thanks for all you and your better half did for the club and your support for V-TEN Racing and myself in the sale of my street Viper.

I am lucky I survived Viper days this year with 1,000 degrees in the car. Well, it felt that way.
Pete, you know if that time is fast considering what you were driving. But then again, spec for you may not be spec for others.............smile. I bet you I could turn a 2:33 in that same car...
I knew that Martinez was a sleeper in the VD Challange Series the whole time. Good luck to all and I will see you, Rich, in about a week at the VRL Finals in TX. We will have some fun. You can show me the fast way around and no over heating you car from you!
I am just glad I made it through the weekend. Thanks go out to Janni and Henry Cone. Great to see all the Vette guys who are a class act. Ray, great job buddy.
